Team & Contact

We are a steadily growing group of parents committed to giving our children, and those around them, the strongest possible start in life. One key part of that is delaying access to smartphones until at least the age of 16.

We’re happy to speak with your group, school, church, or community, wherever you’d like us, to share the latest research, insights, and resources. And we’re always looking for more passionate parents to join us.

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you.

Meet the Team

Dr Silja Litvin

As a psychologist, researcher, and founder of eQuoo, I’ve spent my career developing evidence-based tools to support young people’s mental health. But as a parent of twin toddlers, this work has taken on a deeply personal meaning.

We now have overwhelming research showing the impact of early smartphone access on children’s mental well-being, resilience, and social development. Yet, most parents don’t have access to clear, science-backed information to help them make informed choices. That’s why I’m building the Wait Until Later community—alongside other parents—so we can support each other in delaying smartphone access until at least age 16. This isn’t about rejecting technology but about prioritizing our children’s emotional and cognitive development.
